The idea was to design a lamp that could be used in different positions, environments and that could change its light’s profile from 120º to a wider one; everything described above using sustainable materials.

We created Motus as a versatile lamp which you can use whether as a table lamp or a ceiling lamp. Minimal design is in this lamp's DNA which makes it perfect for different rooms and environments. As for the material, it’s made of plant-based polymers, a new generation of sustainable material that functions like plastic without negative environmental impacts made out of raw sugar cane crops that are transformed into simple sugar that later is fermented to produce lactic acid which after, is dehydrated and turned into PLA. Additives are finally added to obtain the material that is used in a 3D printer to create the lamp.
